Opening Reception: Saturday, April 3, 5:00-7:00 pm 203 Esther Street, Peekskill
The Heart Path Symbology explores the wisdom, power, and sacred intelligence held within the heart space. Each work reflects the idea that when we make decisions from the heart, rather than from fear, ego, or distraction, we draw closer to our higher self, divine source, and inner truth. Through symbol, color, and intuitive energy, these pieces invite viewers to reconnect with the heart as a guide toward clarity, compassion, and spiritual alignment.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Dr. Nadine Gordon-Taylor’s work explores the intersection of Heart-Based Consciousness and universal symbolism. Her practice is a perpetual pursuit of knowledge, often approaching her subjects with the rigor of a scientist before transitioning into an intuitive, non-linear creative process. Her current work focuses on the animal kingdom and its symbolic connection to the human experience. Born in New York City, Dr. Gordon-Taylor’s formal training began as a life member of the Art Students League, where she studied under legendary anatomist Robert Beverly Hale and painter Robert Brackman. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in printmaking and art history from Hunter College, an MFA in painting from Long Island University, and a Doctorate of art education from Columbia University, Teachers College. With over 30 years of experience as a public and private educator, she has taught at Westchester Community College and the College of New Rochelle and has led workshops and lectures nationwide. Her celebrated oracle decks, including: The Heart Path, Animal Love and Crystal Clear Oracle, are published through Inner Traditions Bear & Company.
