In this workshop, students will explore collage, using cut paper and found images to create exciting new artworks. They will gather images and words from magazines, cut colorful shapes, and create their own collage papers through rubbings, stamping, and marbling. Students will add finishing touches with drawing materials and experiment with cutting, pasting, and layering images, text, shapes, and colors. By the end of the class, each student will have created several unique abstract and representational collages.
