NECS Open Mic - Evening of the Arts! - 1st Saturdays of the Month.Family Open Mic at 6:30 PM. Bring a snack! NECS invites you to an evening of the arts where children, youth and their parents (if they are brave enough) can share their musical, dance, drama or literary talent. Join us for our monthly Family Mic on the first Saturdays of the month at NECS! If your child or family members would like to perform, please email me at rf@necspace.com. Suggested Donation Per Family $5
Overall, the event seems like a reasonable way for families to engage with the arts. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but it appears to be quite approachable for a local community gathering. I’d been reading up more on https://simpid.de and the structure was easy to follow honestly. It’s interesting to see how these kinds of evenings are organized and promoted.
