Emily is an artist, educator, bookkeeper, and community organizer based in Peekskill. She has been an active member of several artist groups in the NYC area for over twenty years. She teaches and serves as a non-profit bookkeeper for multiple arts organizations in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Working in a variety of mediums, she explores themes of identity and belonging and creates functional ceramics for everyday and ritual use. Emily lives with her traveling companion and two cyclones in Peekskill, NY, where she participates in community gardening and local government.
