Signs, Games and Scenes
“Signs, Games and Scenes” presents new paintings by Anya Steger that emerge through a dialogue between intention and revelation, where initial ideas of landscape, color, and form transform into signs and scenes. Like visual patchworks that depict a pictorial space of abstract shapes and folk-inflected figures, these works invite viewers into a game of interpretation in which meaning continually unfolds.
